I recommend you/we support the Game, on the other hand, if you are like me, and you want the feeling of really having a challenge + without the feeling of having 'cheated', you might go old school and refuse the temptation.

I haven't. I would like to support the game-- however, they aren't supporting us correctly back. The GM's do as much as they can-- however, the development and content Runewaker gives us is a little backed up.. I know time to heal it, but until then, I will not buy Diamonds. It won't satisfy me one bit.

I have bought diamonds from RoM. But i have set a limit of 15$ a month. That way i wont always be spending my cash like i was doing with games like WoW.

I also agree OverkillSpree, but i like to be ahead of the other competition.

I buy diamonds only if there is a good deal going on. 3000 diamonds for 2.5 cents a diamond is a deal, and its been something I've been strongly for in the beginning. So I stuck to my guns and did just that, I bought 3000.
Now I did split my 3000 with my wife, so in reality, its really 1500 for me.
If the prices of diamonds goes down, not only will I be happy, but so will others.
But so far, me and my wife are satisfied with the "surprise" sale. We bought some TP, EXP, and Crafting furniture, she's splurging on fusion stones, while I am waiting for the next good deal in the market. Hopefully one with transport runes again.

I hoping that Frogster sees the sale's results from the "surprise sale" and considers making some sort of change though.

As for the GMs and Mods here, I've been in your shoes before. I work for a lousy cable company as a repair tech. I do my job better than most, but the customer sees me as the face of the cable company, thus I get blamed for my company's mistakes, not to mention the mistakes of bad techs/contractors.

So grab a nice cold one Mr. GM/Mod guy, your real American Heroes.

If I get them, they will be because I traded something in game to another player for them. TBH I'm only playing this game more or less casually and I can't justify the expense right now.

Also the prices are out of whack right now so even if I wanted to, I wouldn't until things settled down.

I bought 200 diamonds yesterday while they were on sale. Not sure exactly what I'll do with them. Most likely wait for another sale and build my stockpile that way as I'm currently unemployed looking for work.

Every time i go to buy diamonds (2000 is my goal) another bad things comes up either a patch that nerfs my character to uselessness

Or a promised nerf in a story or interview

Buy but don't spend em I'm waiting for the new combat changes to get tweaked a bit more before spending my diamonds. That and I want a warhorse, not just a regular horse
