Ash timber?

hi i got stuck on a problem... i need ash timber for a quest and i got a whole lot of ash wood... but how do i do to make it to timber?

Buy a recipe to refine it to timber. Pioneer colony has the alchemy, wood and mining instructors.

When you were asked during the initial series of quests to get training from them, they should've had options to explain how this works. Might want to check them if you have not done so yet.

how do you do it my instrctor isnt telling me?

after you buy the recipe from the instructor, go to your general skills (press K by default)

And go to woodcutting skill and it should be there.
