Good solo combo?

I was originally thinking warden/scout but after reading I hear it gets boring because you spam just 2 skills over and over and it doesn't do that much dps.

Then I read that mage/rogue is fun and good dps. Is that true? How often does one die with this class?

I normally like to play something that can take a lot of aggro but has the option of magic/melee. ie: Death-Knight(wow) was a fun class for that reason.

It doesn't have to be these classes but because my friends are not always going to be on I'd like to be able to solo and have fun doing so.

Read some more and saw mage/rogue is broken because of dual wielding isn't as good as 2hd staff? Also I'm looking into rogue/scout, is that fun or boring?

If you are interested in magic dps m/p is the best solo combo in game for pve. r/s, w/r, w/wdn, m/w are good burst dps combos. m/p is also good dps.

im playing r/s and how to say it, i lack healing abilities on this guy :/ but i do love that he has hide (lets me cruise around mobs to get to end target rather than have to kill all them to get to him or they foolow me and overwhelm since he can only hit up to 2 targets right now) vanish (real good saved me a couple times from death) and premed (makes my next attack critical) o ye and i like shot given by scout, so u dont have to chase mobs.

but then again, high dps and not realy tuff without any healing abilities, so u cant solo many things especially if there are alot of mobs and they can easily overwhelm you...

I too am R/S and love it and am called on allot to DPS in raids.
But, the healing part is good as well and makes you survive.
Both are great suggestions.

Anything /priest (human) or /druid (elf) is great for soloing and leveling. With the introduction of the 3 class system you are no longer locked into one combo and forced to use a fruit of forgetting should you decide to change it later on. Now you can have your cake and eat it too. Having a self heal/hot reduces downtime immensely and can get you out of some sticky situations. There is no xp debt for mana loss, however health on the other hand....
