[COLOR=#222222][FONT=Times]A lot of games have struggled with the combination of crafting gear and instance gear. I believe the best way to fix this is make the gear, almost but not fully, equal. As in, giving plate instance gear a higher pdef, and crafting gear higher mdef. Also give weapons effect skills. The ability to craft a weapon that will once an hour raise crit chance by 15% for 10 minutes, but has slightly lower DPS than an instance drop weapon with out the effect. And have the effects only available with the weapon equipped. And if it's Dias they're worried about they should sell scrolls, but not the mats, in the item shop for nice weapons and armies as such. They make money, people who worked hard to level their skills can put them to use with seperate, but equal(ha) weapons and armor. Some minor differences here and there that allow the player to choose which one better suits their play style or liking.
