If you get disconnected or switch channels you lose the disguise tool set that Angela Bix gives you to retrieve her a ethereal spectrum chicken egg, and you cannot complete the quest for the rest of the day.

Interesting issue. I managed to succesfully confirm the problem, however, since this is part of an event I don't think we will be able to fix this issue before the event ends. Should the event appear next year, we will make sure to double check if our Developers solved the issue. I've reported the problem. Thanks.
